The package was lightweight, wrapped tightly in blue plastic with unreadable white labels stamped across it. A strange feeling crept over Derek as he examined it, like something wasn’t right. Something about this was definitely off. He glanced around uneasily, half-expecting someone to appear out of the woods. But the road remained eerily quiet, the rustling trees his only company.
