“I have no idea. But whatever it is, it’s big. Really big.” As they pulled up to Madeleine’s house, Derek scanned the street nervously. No black SUVs in sight. Yet. They hurried inside, Derek clutching the package to his chest. Joshua, Madeleine’s boyfriend, greeted them at the door with a smile. “Hey guys! Wasn’t expecting you today. What’s up?” Derek and Madeleine exchanged a look, then rushed past him into the living room. Joshua’s smile faded.
