The entrance was unguarded, though the heavy steel door groaned loudly as Derek pushed it open. Inside, dim emergency lights flickered, casting long shadows across the walls. The group moved cautiously, the air thick with the hum of hidden power. “Where do we go now?” Joshua asked. Derek unfolded the map Wren had sent, which marked a control room deep within the facility. “This way,” he said, leading them into the unknown.
