With one final heave, the stone slab tipped back and landed with a thunderous crash that shook the ledge beneath their feet. A gaping hole yawned open where the door had been. Inside, a darkness so thick it felt alive stared back at them. Brody and Mike exchanged wide-eyed glances, their breath catching in their throats. “Did we just open a cave?” Mike whispered.
