“What is it? We’ve got a long way to go if we want to make it by dark,” Mike said. “Just look!” Brody insisted, pointing with growing excitement. As Mike joined him and examined the lines, his expression shifted. These weren’t cracks or weather marks—they were carved, perfectly straight and deliberate. “You seeing this too?” Brody asked. Mike nodded slowly. “Yeah. And whatever this is… someone definitely put it here.”
