An unexpected bond
“Now this,” Bob said, his eyes lighting up, “this feels right.” While waiting for the paperwork on the house to be finalized, Bob remained at Brody’s place. During this time, he formed an unlikely bond with Brody’s dog, a lively golden retriever named Max. At first, Bob was wary of Max, having had little interaction with pets in his life.
