Mike repeated, “Millions, easily.” Bob gave a small, tired nod. There was pride in his eyes, yes—but something else too. Brody noticed it first: exhaustion. Like the treasure wasn’t a reward, but a burden. “You’ve been sitting on a fortune,” Brody said. “Why stay?” Bob looked away. “Because out there, it disappears. Taxes, thieves, noise. In here, it’s mine. All mine.” His voice trembled with emotion.
