Different intonation
Right after Brody spoke those words, the sound passed by their ears again, and this time, it frightened them just that bit more. The high-pitched noise sounded closer this time, and its intonation varied more than before. Brody and Mike heard the formation of words, followed by cheerful whistling. “It’s coming our way, hide,” Brody whispered to his friend.
