Jake forced a smile, nodding in agreement. Tyler was probably right. Still, he wished he could go to her and reassure her that they were in this together. But tradition demanded they stay apart until the ceremony. He leaned against the wall near the altar, letting the soft hum of guests arriving fill the air around him.
