The woman reached out and patted his hand comfortingly. “Don’t give up hope,” she said. “We’ll keep looking, and we’ll let you know the moment we find any trace of him. In the meantime, perhaps you could put up some more posters around this neighborhood, in case someone spots him nearby.”
