Minutes later, they reached the waterfall. The water cascaded down jagged rocks, splashing into a deep, clear pool below. Mist hovered above the surface, cooling the air around them. “Wow,” Emily whispered, momentarily distracted by the beauty. Jason took a deep breath. “Alright, we’re here. Now what?” He scanned the area suspiciously.
